Rooms
The Avalon has 7 rental rooms and 7 bathrooms and can accommodate up to 18 people. The house can hold up to 24 people with use of extra twin beds in Library room and overflow rooms if available and depending upon time of season. (please call us for details).
Rent the Whole House OR Single Rooms. Open each year from mid May thru Indigenous Peoples Day.
All of our bedrooms are located on the second level. Our main floor is the common area which includes a large country kitchen, living room with TV, extra bathrooms, spacious dining room, billiards, "boat bar" area, large covered porch and huge lawn ready for just about anything...
The Avalon has a 2 night minimum stay on any day of the week and a 3 night minimum stay on holiday weekends.
Maid's Quarters (Room 1)
King size bed and has a lovely cross breeze with windows that face both the North and South sides of the island. Bathroom (Shares with Room 2) is located at the foot of the stairs. This room can accommodate a maximum of 2 people.
Linen Closet (Room 2)
Two twin sized beds and has a lovely cross breeze with windows that face the North and South sides of the island. Bathroom (Shares with Room 1) is located at the foot of the stairs. This room can accommodate a maximum of 2 people.

Doubles Room (Room 3)
Two double sized beds and has windows facing the West, North and South sides of the island. This room has a 1/2 bath with a commode and sink and uses the modern tiled shower at the foot of the stairs. This room can accommodate a maximum of 4 people.

Master Bedroom (Room 4)
King size bed, private bathroom with claw-foot tub and handheld shower, decorative fireplace, seating area, ceiling fan, and windows that face the Vineyard Sound (ocean), South and West sides of the island. This room can accommodate a maximum of 2 people.

Balcony Room (Room 5)
Queen size bed, private bathroom and has a small balcony and window facing the Vineyard Sound (ocean). This room can accommodate a maximum of 2 people.
Library (Room 6)
2 twin sized beds, private bathroom and windows that face both the Vineyard Sound (ocean) and West side of the island. This room can accommodate 2 people, max of 4 with 2 add'l twin beds for an extra $25 per bed/night fee. All 4 twins included for whole house rentals.

Four Poster Room (Room 7)
Queen size bed, private bathroom, decorative fireplace and windows facing the Vineyard Sound (ocean) and West side of the island. This room can accommodate a maximum of 2 people.
North Room (Room 8)
King size bed and two extra long twin beds, private bathroom, windows facing the Vineyard Sound (ocean), North and West sides of the island. This room can accommodate 4 people and is available in May and October - Please inquire about availability and pricing.

Our season runs from mid May through Indigenous Peoples Day: same rates apply all season.
**All bathrooms have claw foot tubs as well as a standing shower EXCEPT FOR THE MASTER BEDROOM which only has the claw foot tub and a hand-held shower.
**Please note that rooms Library & Four Poster, have an adjoining door which makes it convenient for families to share or guests who wish to have a large "suite" type set up.
**Avalon has two cots available (suitable for kids) for $25 per cot, per night. All rooms can accommodate 1 cot and the Library and Master bedroom can accommodate 2.
*Depending upon the time of the year the whole property can be rented which can max out at 24 people
